And the Winner Is…

Since becoming employee-owned in 2022, we have introduced a series of initiatives designed to reward our customers, including the Cosy Heating Club.
We understand that heating oil is a significant expense, which is why every member of the Cosy Heating Club is automatically entered into our quarterly draw to win 500 litres of heating oil. It’s one of the many ways we say thank you for being a part of our loyal customer community.
Our latest winner, Mrs Caroline Munn, said: “I had no idea I was entered into the Cosy Heating Club draw. When I spoke to the Moorland Fuels team, I thought there must have been a problem with my payment card. So, it was a huge relief and a wonderful surprise when they told me I’d actually won 500 litres of heating oil simply by being a regular monthly Direct Debit customer. It took my breath away!.
“We’ve only recently had a delivery, so we can now look forward to our next refill date in October, safe in the knowledge that we’ll be covered for the coldest months of the year. That’s a huge worry off our minds and means that we can keep the house warm and cosy, especially when our grandchildren, who are three and six, come to visit. They love being out in our large garden, but there’s nothing like coming into the warmth with Nanny.”
Caroline added: “The prize means that we can treat ourselves a little on our next trip to the Balearics in September, but it won’t stop us keeping up with our regular payments as I like to keep on top of things. The nice thing is that we can also look forward to other Cosy Heating Club benefits too, such as the free once a year upgrade to premium heating oil.”
Each time we announce a winner, we’re reminded of how much this gesture truly means to our customers. Our very first winner, Dawn Hatton, a retiree who lives on her own in an isolated house near Throwleigh, Devon, couldn’t wait for her family and friends to visit her and not have to worry about the cost of heating through the winter. Dawn was so taken by what she described as ‘the humanity of it all’ that she chose to give back in her own way by making a donation to her local food bank.
