Thank you for helping us raise over £1,300 for Age UK Devon

Thanks to you, our customers, we’ve been able to support Age UK Devon by giving donations through every fuel order placed.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our communities, we launched our ‘giving back scheme’ in March which means that we donate to good causes for every single fuel delivery made.

With hundreds of deliveries completed each month, we have raised over £1,300 for Age UK Devon, helping to make a real difference to the lives of older people across our region.

This initiative is the latest in a series of customer-led projects made possible by our employee-owned structure, which we adopted in 2022. It’s just one more way we’re delivering on our promise: What matters to you, matters to us.

Alongside our ‘giving back’ scheme, we’ve also taken other important steps to support elderly and vulnerable members of our community. This includes our Cold Weather Priority Scheme which ensures priority deliveries for customers aged 75+ or for those with medical conditions that make them susceptible to the cold. We were also the first in the country to lower the minimum heating oil order for State Age pensioners from 500 litres to 300 litres, helping to cut the costs of individual orders.
