Moorland Fuels Expands Fleet with Addition of New Six Wheeler
Moorland Fuels is excited to announce the expansion of its fleet providing greater opportunity for commercial fuel deliveries with the addition another new fuel tanker.
Moorland Fuels has become part of the landscape with an excellent reputation and service levels with a strong presence and base within the domestic and agricultural markets. Its mixed fleet size has provided it with the flexibility to reach a diverse cross section of customers, but the addition of this new larger tanker and more to come, will enable the company to significantly expand its offering to commercial clients.
In addition to the new tanker Moorland Fuels has also created new job opportunities, both operationally and internally to ensure the high levels of customer service continue.
The new vehicle is a Scania, 26 tonne tanker, built by Magyer on behalf of Maine Tankers. It is capable of carrying 20,000 litres of fuel and will be based in Plymouth.
“This vehicle is a very welcome addition to our fleet because of the operational capabilities it adds,” said Abby Turner, Sales Director, Moorland Fuels. “The additional volume it carries enables us to offer greater efficiencies and flexibility to our customers.”
